How do I create a custom mobile website?

Answer / Solution
  1. Login to ITC Insurance Website Builder's Administration console.
  2. In the white navigation bar on the home page of the Administration console, hover your mouse over Features.
  3. From the drop down menu that will appear, select Mobile Site Features.
  4. Select from Mobile Site Status
    • Enable if you would like the site to go up immediately.
    • Disable if you would like to take a Mobile Site Down. This will end the Mobile Site Building process.
  5. From the Mobile Home Screen option, select Use Custom Design.
  6. In the Add Item section, you can select the following Item Types (Be sure to Name each Item in the Item Name field):
    • Add a Click to Call will allow you to add a Link that brings up the phone number automatically on your cell phone in their cell phone dialer like the call logs area of a smart phone. Enter the Phone Number you would like in the Phone Number Field.
    • Add a Click to Email brings up an option for you to create a link that will go to whatever email address you type in the Email Address Field.
    • Add a Click to Navigate will allow you to create a link that goes to a physical address. Enter the Street Address you would like shown in the Street Address Field.
    • Add Content will allow you to add content to the mobile site like words, pictures, etc.
      • If you would like to type out text, type it into the HTML console.
      • If you would like to add a picture, select the landscape icon called the Image Manager button. Find the image on your computer, and click Select.
    • Add an Internal Page will allow you to add links to pages that are included with your site like the home page, auto insurance page, etc.
    • Add a Hyperlink will allow you to add a link that goes to another website address, usually one that's not on your website.
    • Add a Title adds a title for a section of Items you will place following this Add a Title Item.
  7. Click Add Menu Item
  8. There is a box under the Use Custom Design option where you can arrange the items however you like and is where your different Items will appear as you create them. You can use the Up Arrow on the right of the box to move Items Up and the Down Arrow to move Items Down. The X Icon is the Delete Icon to Delete Items.
  9. You can now update the Mobile Website Header in the Site Content Editor.
