Question / Issue
How do I view, modify, or delete an existing Policy in AgencyBuzz?

Answer / Solution
  1. Login to AgencyBuzz.
  2. Click on the Policies section from the left hand navigation column.  A list of policies will be displayed.
  3. You can drill down on specific policies by line of business, status, carrier, or upcoming expirations by selecting the appropriate drill down category under the Policies section on the left hand navigation column.
  4. To search for a policy using the built in search feature type the named insured into the search box.
  5. Locate the policy you would like to view, modify, or delete and select it.
  6. Click Edit from the Actions toolbar located in the top menu bar, or right-click on the record and select Edit Policy from the list of options. You can also select View Named Insured from the right-click options to view the AgencyBuzz Contact record for the primary insured.
  7. On the toolbar company options are displayed.  These options include Delete, Notes, Add Note, Send Email, and Send Mailing icons.
    1. Delete – Allows you to delete the policy.
    2. Notes - Allows you to view the notes added to this policy.
    3. Add Note - Allows you to quickly add a note to this policy.
    4. Send Email – Allows you to send an email to the contacts associated to this policy from your local mail client such as Outlook.
    5. Send Mailing - Allows you to send an Event to the primary insured or all contacts assigned to this Policy
    6. Select a contact listed on the policy and click the X icon to remove the contact from this policy or the pencil icon to select a different AgencyBuzz contact record to assign to this policy.
  8. When you have opened the desired policy, update the information as need.
  9. Click the Save button in Actions section of the toolbar.  Alternatively you can click the Save & Close button to return to the main screen. Note: Any active business rule events set up based on policy information may be triggered when you click Save or Save & Close.
