Question / Issue
We currently have an Excel spreadsheet with all of our client email addresses and names. Do I have to convert this to a CSV file to import the names into the Mailing List or is there a way to import my excel file?

Answer / Solution

You will have to export the Excel file as a CSV (Comma Delimited File).  You can use the following format when creating your CSV file.

Mailing List Import Format
You have multiple options for the import format.  You can import either either the recipients Name and E-Mail Address, or just their address.

Sample Format #1 - For Inputting both Name and E-Mail Address
This is a comma delimited list.

John Doe,john@home.com
Jane Smith,jsmith@yahoo.com
Joe Johnson,jj@email.com

Sample Format #2 - For Inputting just E-Mail Address

john@home.com
jsmith@yahoo.com
jj@email.com
