Accessing the Navigation Menu Builder
- Login to the Insurance Website Builder Administration Console
- Click the Navigation Menu Editor link
- Click the Launch Navigation Builder button.
- Using the Navigation Builder window you can modify the navigation menu.
- As you build your menu you can save your progress by clicking the Close button.
- Once you have completed the building of your Navigation Menu, click the Save and Close button.
Header Items (Parent Items)
- Right click on the first item in the navigation menu section and select New Menu Header
- Type the name of the Header Item
- You can rename any of the header items by right clicking Rename Item
- You can delete any of the header items by right clicking Delete Item
- You can reorder the header items by drag and dropping the header items into the correct order.
Items (Child Items)
- You can add new items to the navigation menu by dragging items from the right hand side into the left hand Navigation Menu. You can select any item from the available pages.
- Built In Pages
Built-in pages include all the content pages available on your site.
- Quote Forms
Includes all the Quote forms on your site. It includes Custom Forms built by the Form Builder.
- Customer Service Forms
Includes all the customer service forms on your site. It includes Custom Forms built by the Form Builder.
- Claim Forms
Includes all the claim forms on your site. It includes Custom Forms built by the Form Builder.
- Advanced (Custom Items)
Allows you to create custom navigation menu items.
- You can rename any of the child items by right clicking Rename Item
- You can delete any of the child items by right clicking Delete Item
- You can reorder the child items by drag and dropping the childitems into the correct order.
Activating the Custom Navigation Menu
- Login to the Insurance Website Builder Administration Console
- Click the Navigation Menu Editor link
- To enable your newly built navigation menu, click the Custom Menu radio button.
- To enable the built-in navigation menu, click the Default Menu radio button.
- NOTE: You will need to rebuild your navigation bar. Your new custom navigation will not import the defaults from the standard horizontal navigation bar.
