Question / Issue
How do I set up an e-mail based mail to just go out on the contacts birthday?

Answer / Solution
  1. Login to AgencyBuzz.
  2. Click on the Event icon in the Create New Menu at the top left corner.
  3. From the drop down menu, select Business Rule.
  4. Name the Event Name to something like "Customer Birthdays"
  5. From the Event Type drop down menu select Business Rule Event - On Contact's Birthday
  6. From the Event Status drop down menu, select Enabled.
  7. There will be two box menus under the Event Status Bar. On the right-hand box, there will be a drop down menu above it. Select Show Email from this drop down box.
  8. Now, select from the right hand menu box, select which email based mailing you would like to be sent out on your customers' birthdays by clicking on it and clicking the left hand single arrow between the two menu boxes.
  9. If you want to create a drip process you can add a delay between mailings by selecting a time delay from the timer drop down box and clicking Add Time. From there, you can add other mailings to follow the Birthday email after the time you specify.
    • You can create "custom" times by adding multiple timing events together.
  10. If you would like the Birthday email to arrive a certain number of days before the customer's birthday, select from the Lead Time box how much time you would like.
  11. Click Save and Close.

Note: You can check the status of this event by clicking Event from the left column navigation menu. You should see your Birthday event under Active events.
