How do I add multiple links on one image using the Image Map Editor?

Answer / Solution
  1. Login to the Insurance Website Builder Administration Console.
  2. Select Site Content Editor found in both the Site Design Settings and Content and Design menus.
  3. Choose which Language you will use on the page.
  4. Choose a Page to Modify from the Content drop down menu.
    • A Page Content tab will appear with a text editor above a white text box.
  5. Select the image you want to map with different links from your computer in the Choose Image field
  6. Select the Image Map Editor icon.
    • It looks like the Image Manager icon but has a blue box in the top left hand corner.
  7. Select Area Shape from either Rectangle or Circle depending on the shape of the area you want to hyperlink.
  8. Click New Area and click and drag the blue square with a red square in the corner over the area you want to link.
  9. Put the URL in the URL field that you want this area to link to.
  10. Select how you want the link to appear from the Target drop down menu.
    • New Window
    • Parent Window
    • Same Window
    • Browser Window
    • Search Pane
    • Media Pane
  11. Put in a short description of the mapped area of the image in the Alt Text field.
  12. Choose from Update Area, Remove Area, Remove All as needed to change the mapped fields in the preview area.
  13. Repeat until you have all the areas mapped that you want in the Chosen Image.
  14. Click OK.
